Opinion piece.
As crypto becomes more and more mainstream, there are certainly key players who are becoming household names. One of those is FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried,
who seems to be popping up all over the place. On the surface, Bankman-Fried appears to be a benevolent figure in the space, always willing to help out with bailouts and other infrastructure initiatives. However, some believe that there may be a hidden secret behind his generosity. Some believe that Bankman-Fried and similar characters' real motive, is to keep eyes away from the industry. The question is, WHY?
“It’s OK to do a deal that is moderately bad in bailing out a place,” SBF said at the Bloomberg Crypto Summit in New York on Tuesday. Bankman-Fried said the need to be a “good, constructive actor in this space” justifies “incinerating a small amount of money.”
“The bar is not: Is this a good return on investment?” he said. It’s more about maintaining the health of the wider industry.
Logic prevails and suggests why would a competitor want others to survive and not sit back and let the natural evolution of the space occur. what hidden secrets lay, If the market were to collapse, it would lead to a wider investigation of the events that led up to the crash. Although if a solution were to arise, bailouts all over, and only a few collapse, the market would recover quickly and before major eyes reach the truth behind the centralized control of the crypto space and who are the puppeteers of the space. The market would ripen and move eyes away from what really occurred.
Put yourself in the shoes of a person, who could control any outcome, of any coin, A person that has a reach, in almost every company, that has the ability to control the market and could wipe out billions or make billions, based on a total marketing manipulation strategy. A person who has made sure his influence is at all levels, Think about what you would do, Think about what actions you would take, when your plan or anyone else's plan, leads to major eyes and investigations. Investigations that may lead to you. What would you do, Well if it was me, I would bail out as many companies as possible, help trade recover quickly, sacrifice some wealth to ultimately keep eyes off me, and finally learn from what happened. Well, that's what I would do, not suggesting anyone else would do the same.
what we have come to learn about the space, is In the world of cryptocurrency trading, there is always the looming question of whether or not certain players have an unfair advantage. If those players utilize greed and gambling strategies to make billions while their victims worship them as heroes. So for now, All we can hope for, is a complete investigation into the events that wiped out billions from investors.
