Ripple Shifts Whopping 120 Million XRP as Coin's Price Suddenly Jumps 25%

Ripple, a San-Francisco-based fintech company, recently transferred 250 million XRP, including 120 million XRP to an anonymous wallet, as reported by cryptocurrency tracker Whale Alert. This transfer amounts to roughly $57.7 million USD, and it is speculated that Ripple may sell part or all of this XRP. Additionally, a larger XRP lump was transferred on XRP Ledger between anonymous wallets, totaling 130 million XRP, which was later discovered to be an internal transfer made by South Korean exchange Bithumb. XRP's price surged by over 25% earlier today, reaching $0.49, likely due to expectations that the SEC case against Ripple Labs will be resolved soon. However, the price has since settled at around $0.44.
