On Tuesday, the GMM token, which is associated with the Metaverse project Gamium, saw a 340% surge in value to $0.0025. This increase followed the announcement of partnerships between Gamium, social media giant Meta (META), and telecommunications company Telefonica (TEF). The collaboration will involve the Metaverse Activation Program, which aims to support and scale start-ups within the web3 industry. Meta AI's proprietary technologies and commercial support from both Meta and Telefonica will be made available to these start-ups. Both Meta and Telefonica have previously ventured into web3, with Meta being the parent company of Diem and Telefonica investing in a Spanish exchange last year. The majority of trade volume involving GMN trading pairs has occurred on Kucoin, Gate, and Uniswap. According to CoinMarketCap, the token has a market capitalization of $29 million and reached its all-time high of $0.0106 in April 2022.
