The latest update of Wasabi wallet from zkSNACKs, a Bitcoin privacy company, has reintroduced the coin control feature. This feature enables users to manually select the most private address and output configuration when sending Bitcoin.
The previous Wasabi 2.0 update had introduced an automated version of coin control called "privacy control," which was not well-received by the power users of Wasabi. The coin control feature allows users to identify and separate compromised outputs from more private ones, ensuring better privacy for their transactions. The new update offers both automated and manual options for less-technical and skilled users, respectively. zkSNACKs stated that they listened to user feedback and provided this optional complexity for skilled users to fine-tune their wallet's performance.
