To celebrate International Women's Day, Sotheby's and digital art collective UnicornDAO have collaborated to organize an NFT auction titled "My Body, My Business". The auction, which started on Tuesday, showcases artworks from 34 traditional artists such as Cindy Sherman, Marina Abramović, Jenny Holzer, and Ellen Von Unwerth. The collection also features works from Web3-native artists, including Olive Allen, Latashá, Jen Stark, and Nadya Tolokonnikova, who is the auction's curator and a founding member of the activist group Pussy Riot.

Nadya Tolokonnikova, who co-founded UnicornDAO as a collective to empower women and LGBTQ+ NFT creators, is passionate about using art and activism to empower women and underrepresented communities. According to Tolokonnikova, Pussy Riot is intended to motivate people to join the movement rather than just being passive observers. The auction will remain open until March 14, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to organizations like Planned Parenthood that support women's reproductive health. Endaoment, a crypto donations platform, is launching PPFA.eth, a wallet address that will aid in directing further donations to the organization. Tolokonnikova has been utilizing NFTs to empower underrepresented communities through her art for the last two years. In January, she collaborated with Shepard Fairey to release a collection called Putin's Ashes to raise funds for troops in Ukraine. In May 2022, UnicornDAO raised $4.5 million to enhance its portfolio of NFT projects with social good.
