NuGenesis's technology journey, told through its original record

Original 2022 and 2023 Inside Crypto reports trace NuGenesis's smart-chain ideas and network ambitions alongside its whitepaper.

On 14 July 2022, Inside Crypto published a report headed “NuGenesis Blockchain Network Exceeds 1 Billion Transactions and 18 Million Blocks.” The figures are what the original story reported at the time. Keeping that article, its original date and its headline accessible lets readers see the project’s public account of its progress without recasting the numbers as a new measurement.

Smart chains enter the record

Two days later, another Inside Crypto story turned to NuGenesis smart chains and the prospect of NFT trading on a Layer 1 platform. The report is part of the same historical record: a view of the ideas the team was presenting in July 2022. It does not, by itself, establish which capabilities are live today.

The design behind the stories

The company’s whitepaper sets out the broader design behind those stories. It describes a NuGenesis main chain built on Substrate, a LedgerX exchange chain based on C++, and Ethereum and Bitcoin chains within a multi-chain configuration. Parallel processing and load balancing are central to the account the paper gives of scaling and interoperability. Those are NuGenesis’s architectural descriptions; this retrospective is not an independent technical test.

A later chapter

On 27 April 2023, Inside Crypto published a further story about multi-coin smart chains for asset digitisation and trading. Read beside the earlier reports, it shows a consistent focus on making different kinds of digital assets work within a wider ecosystem. The progression from the July 2022 stories to the April 2023 article is a publication chronology, rather than a claim that every described use case has since been deployed.

Why preserve the originals?

The original reports now sit together in Inside Web3’s selected original-reporting collection. Their dates remain attached to the stories, while this new feature has its own publication date. That distinction matters: the archive shows what NuGenesis and Inside Crypto said as the work developed, and the whitepaper gives readers the company’s technical account to examine alongside it.
