In 30 days, Blur generated Ethereum NFT deals valued more over $1.3 billion.
Over the same span, $371.3M in transactions were processed by OpenSea.
The BLUR token declined by 98% last month after reaching an all-time high of $45.98.
DappRadar data shows that over the previous 30 days, the non-fungible token (NFT) exchange Blur produced over $1.3 billion in Ethereum NFT trades, surpassing rival OpenSea in transaction volume.
The actual rise over the previous month's results is 194.21%, as shown by the figure. In contrast, OpenSea recorded $371.3 million in transaction volume over the same time period, barely improving on the previous quarter by 16.8%.
The third-placed X2Y2 NFT market was closely followed, with $355.6 million. Interestingly, the increase in Blur volume comes after the company gave its BLUR governance token (an airdrop) to NFT traders who had earned awards through the marketplace and those who had traded elsewhere before the launch.
Despite just having been released sixteen days ago, the BLUR cryptocurrency has a respectable market worth of $322 million, according to market monitoring website CoinMarketCap. It is currently trading at $0.8166, down 12% over the past week. It's interesting to note that BLUR reached an astonishing all-time high of $45.98 on February 13 but has since dropped by almost 98% to less than one penny.
