Blockchain Research to Be Promoted by JPMorgan at New Innovation Lab

The investment bank JPMorgan, which has millions of clients worldwide, has announced the opening of a new innovation lab in Greece that will work on developing blockchain-based solutions. The Onyx platform, which was introduced by the bank in 2020, will be the main focus of the lab's work.

The Blockchain Launch team, which uses Onyx's technology to plan and create blockchain-based applications for the bank's clients, will include this new innovation lab in its portfolio. JPMorgan is trying to hire four new roles for this new endeavor, including two full-stack software engineers, a mobile app developer, and a technical manager, according to Tyrone Lobban, head of Blockchain Launch & Onyx Digital Assets at JPMorgan.

The business has been utilizing blockchain-based technologies for a while. In 2022, Lobban claimed that the bank was employing blockchain technology to settle $1 billion every day.
