The creators of the Solana-based digital fine art marketplace, Exchange.Art, have announced the launch of Code Canvas, a platform for generative art non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The platform will facilitate the minting and trading of generative art NFTs on the Solana blockchain, similar to Ethereum-based Art Blocks.
Code Canvas will curate primary drops and secondary sales of Solana-based generative art NFTs. Adam Karren, chief product officer of Code Canvas, hopes to attract artists native to the Ethereum and Tezos ecosystems to the growing Solana NFT ecosystem. The platform plans to reward creators and their fans with CoCa passes, which grant lifetime access to NFT drops and minting services.
Code Canvas also intends to enforce royalties on Solana and support creators in earning revenue from their work.
